A stunning new three-panel art glass design of two elegant etched glass peacocks standing at a fountain is now on display at the Krystal Glass Company showroom in Pompano Beach, Florida. In our 35 years of creating custom fine art glass, this is one of the most beautiful pieces ever created by Peter Edward, glass artist and president. The highly detailed art is etched and carved in glass by hand with meticulous detail. Peter Edward is known for his intricate shading techniques in etched glass throughout elaborate designs like the feathers of the peacocks. The drops of water flowing from the fountain as it sprays upward give the piece movement and create a unified scene. The pieces are illuminated with bright white LED lights. Each panel is 26″ wide x 72″ high and is custom made and framed in lightweight low profile black metal. Peter Edward designed the trio to hang on a wall wherever a stunning visual statement is desired in a home, business or vessel. Each piece has its own French cleat on the back so installation is easy. He designed the art to flow best with a spacing of 1″ between panels for a total width of 80″. The backing of the pieces is black for dramatic contrast with the white LED illumination. The pieces can easily be converted into a free-standing screen as well. The trio is ready for a new home and can be delivered and installed in the South Florida area or safely crated, insured and shipped anywhere. All art glass created by Krystal Glass Company is custom and available in any size, shape and design for a wide...

Review of the Etched Glass Waterfall Here’s the generous 5-Star Review they gave us for the custom etched glass waterfall on Facebook. Artist’s Note About Water and Etched Glass This etched glass waterfall is designed to have the water running over the smooth side so that water does not come in contact with the etched and carved glass surface. Etched glass can become stained if it comes in contact with water. Share With...

Have you ever wondered how to clean etched glass? It’s not something you would think of the day your new etched glass is installed in your home. Etched, carved and painted art glass from Krystal Glass Company is a smart investment in your property that provides years of enjoyment for you and adds beauty to your surroundings that will impress your guests for years to come. With the proper care, your art glass will remain as beautiful as the day you receive it. All glass looks best if kept clean and this is especially important for etched, carved and painted glass to help avoid staining its delicate surface and causing permanent damage. Art glass that is neglected may accumulate dirt, dust, oils, fingerprints, or water spots especially if it is outside or in a wet area like a shower. Water will eventually turn into mineral deposits if not cleaned. Water also can cause dirt to be attracted to and dried on to the glass. Use Cleaners Designed For Glass For glass that has been etched, carved and/or painted, spray a good quality glass cleaner such as Hi-Sheen, Windex or water on paper towels first and then wipe the glass clean until dry. This works better than spraying the art glass directly. Never use anything abrasive or chemical cleaners of any kind on the art glass. Do not use any kind of soap because it will ruin the etching. Soap is very difficult to remove from the etched surface. Etched, carved, painted or clear lacquer art glass will be irreparably damaged if subjected to harsh abrasive chemicals or scrubbing...

Pastor Sergio from Light Of The World Church in Miami gives Krystal Glass Company a very positive video testimonial about the carved glass logo created by Peter Edward. “Outstanding beautiful work, very detailed, and just what we were looking for,” Pastor Sergio said. Krystal Glass Company recently created the carved glass logo with the intention of the church illuminating it with LED lights once they install it. Peter Edward started the project of the carved glass logo with low-iron, very high quality glass as he does with other art glass projects that will be illuminated with LED lights. For 35 years, Krystal Glass Company has specialized in several types of glass that make unique etched glass signs for businesses, schools and organizations. Etched and carved glass, LED illuminated glass and painted glass are just a few of the possibilities. Peter Edward has etched and carved all types of art including logos and custom fine art designs on glass and mirror. The logo above was supplied by Pastor Sergio and recreated on glass. Peter Edward used a combination of glass etching and deeper carved areas to make the logo look striking when illuminated. The piece will be installed with LED lights in the church’s pulpit.
